Meaning :

Kati in Sanskrit means waist and Chakra means circular rotation or a wheel. Asana means posture. So Katichakrasana means the circular motion around the waist yoga posture.

Technique :

Children should stand straight with their feet together.
Breathe in and stretch your hand in front with closed palms.
The palms should be kept such that they are parallel to the floor.
Now turn from the waist and then look behind over the right shoulder after turning towards right.
Keep the feet steady on the floor and then breathe in and come back to position.
Breathe out and turn towards left.
Repeat the entire procedure.
Breathe in and breather out and bring the hands down.
