In an interview Nihar Pandya was questioned about his relationship status with Deepika Padukone and he said that they are very much in touch.

Nihar Pandya was first boy friend of Deepika Padukone when she had just started her career in film industry. But they had alleged fall out when Deepika moved on to be with Ranbir Kapoor. There was huge drama by Nihar Pandya.

But now in interview he said that they are friends and in touch and they are not people who are like waiting to run down each other when they can.

They are just friends and he further added that people think this friendship is because he wants to be with the actress but that is not. He said his actions will speak louder than words and he will show that he is in genuine friendship with Deepika.
