Known as the cougar or mountain lion, Mufasa, the lion of the mountains, has just been released from a circus in Peru. This cat is not in danger of extinction in South America, but the Peruvian authorities have banned circuses to hold wild animals of this type. There are some months, cougar was released. Mufasa was rescued after spending 20 years chained to the back of a pick-up in a circus. The association Animal Defenders International has tracked the circus one by one to release the prisoners large felines.
The last circus to which the association held Mufasa, riot police intervened and therefore allowed the animal to break his chains and return to nature.
