I don't think it should be the air liners responsibly. I can't think of a reason to send a child on a flight unattended, but if there was, it's still not their responsibility. They have a lot of passengers to keep track of, and making sure a kid goes to the right place isn't their job.

I didn't realize it was subsidized to that extent in Europe. But I think the regulations and network size must be the biggest factors here. It's just kind of amazing to live in Seattle, in 2016, and there are no FIOS options in my neighborhood, leaving me stuck with one of the shittiest corporations in this country.

I agree, this is closer to distilling your own liquor. Its both dangerous to you and dangerous to those that are buying your product if done incorrectly.

Its dangerous to producer because if handled incorrectly there is a chance it can explode.

Its dangerous to the person drinking it because if you didn't do it right there could be methanol in your end product. Methanol is highly poisonous to humans... Drink 10ml and you go blind, 30ml (that is 1 fluid oz for my America friends) could kill you.

I would be psyched to catch a baseball at a pro game! If there was a kid nearby who nearly got it and looked really sad about missing it I'd probably give it to him or her, but otherwise I'd be happy to keep it as a piece of memorabilia.
I met a guy who was on House Hunters Detroit. He said they had already bought the house when they were filmed, so they had to act like they had never seen it before.
I'll go out and say that these aren't very good reasons to really dislike a person. Like, yes it is obnoxious, but a lot of people do stuff like that on reddit all the time.

And as for not making any breakthroughs, so what? many scientists don't make massive discoveries. He's doing the next best thing: Translating that information into something the general public can understand, as well as garnering interest in the field. He might not have furthered understanding, but he's made huge strides in popularizing various fields of science. So what he's a bit anal retentive? He's probably inspired thousands to pursue carriers in astrophysics at least, while getting the public interested in the sciences.
