A team from NASA and the University of Arizona compiled a series of images showing the exact locations and severity of 4,312 landslides that followed the April 2015 earthquake in Nepal.

The April 2015 earthquake in Nepal's Gorkha region was a devastating force of nature that produced thousands of landslides in its wake. 

NASA recently released satellite images showing the extent and severity of those landslides—and yet, their total number was much lower and resulted in less damage than originally anticipated.
