Jamie Foxx just turned 48-years-old on December 13th, and was the esteemed guest of honor at a blow-out birthday party that took place at Le Bilboquet in New York City. It was a beautiful Saturday night outside, but inside was even more beautiful as guests from near and far gathered to wish Foxx a very happy birthday. The energy in the room was like a reunion of a big happy family, with an all-star guest list including Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, and of course Foxx’s lovely rumored girlfriend Katie Holmes.
Foxx’s list of achievements is outstanding, with significant experience as an actor, singer, comedian, writer, film producer, and film director. His performance in the biopic Ray as Ray Charles was nothing short of genius. As one more birthday passes, recall the fact that Foxx is a self-made man. He began to play classical piano at only 5-years-old, and put himself through school at the United States International University studying classical music and composition. Few people know that he was also an all star basketball player and football quarterback, and once aspired to play for the Dallas Cowboys.
While everyone was celebrating Foxx’s life thus far well-lived, the critically acclaimed vocalist and actress Jennifer Hudson thought to do something special for him. Folks always feel some type of way when people sing “happy birthday,” but imagine how you might feel if the incredible songstress Miss Hudson were to belt out a special song just for you.
