A police officer in West Virginia had to take care of a 14-month-old baby girl after her caretaker was arrested for drug possession.

One officer in West Virginia put his parental skills to use after a baby was left alone following her caretaker's arrest. 

While responding to a shoplifting call at a Kroger grocery store, St. Albans police were alerted to the presence of a woman locked in the restroom with a crying child. 

The woman let the officers in, but was ultimately arrested and charged with drug possession after pills were discovered in plain sight.
