Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia and the country’s defence minister, holds a rare press conference on Tuesday to announce the formation of a 34-state Islamic military coalition to fight terrorism. Bin Salman says the move is part of an effort by the Islamic world to show its ‘vigilance’ against organisations like Isis, and the alliance will tackle any terrorist groups ‘that appears in front of us’
