Colima Volcano Shoots Ash Into the Sky

Mexico’s Colima volcano sent a plume of gas and ash soaring 3,000 meters into the sky on Monday, December 14. The volcano also sent a column of moderate ash more than 2,000 meter upwards on Tuesday.


The National Civil Protection coordinator, Luis Felipe Puente, said on Twitter the volcano on Monday erupted at 8:06 local time. This video shows the volcano on Monday. Credit: YouTube/webcamsdemexico
