After her partner was killed when she was only 18 and pregnant, Colombian fashion designer and environmentalist Adriana Restrepo decided to hire victims of the country's armed conflict to help her find beauty in other people's trash, which she avidly collects to turn into hip, colorful home decor and accessories.
