In what may be a blow for the Congress, the Delhi HC today dismissed Rahul & Soniya Gandhi's plea to quash summons issued to them in the National Herald Case. These summons were issued on basis of a criminal case lodged by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy for alleged cheating and misappropriation of funds in acquiring ownership of now-defunct daily National Herald. Post this dismissal, the Gandhis, along with five other accused will now have to face the trial court tomorrow.
