Miscreated is a survival game created in Cryengine. Its very pretty, the Mutants are deadly and the players (mostly) seem friendly. What's not to love.

Well so far in Miscreated I have been shot at less than I have been spoken to which is a first for me in survival titles. Whether that trend continues is anyones guess and if I wasn't English I am sure my compatriots would have gunned me down without a care.

So far I only have a few hours in Miscreated so will leave judgement as to whether it is a great game until a later date however I will say the two hours I spent playing this were far more enjoyable than the 18 hours I have spent in DayZ which, to its miscredit, this game will be compared to.

In my opinion it is nothing like DayZ, yes its a survival game with guns and mindless enemies but this game has a couple of things DayZ doesn't, it works and it's fun.

I will definitely be back to play and will continue this series as I had an awful lot of fun playing. I will stick with the server I found and will remember to write it down so I can post a link to it in the description of the next video so if you want to play along and get in a video with me then you can.

The devs have told me they will give me a couple of keys to give away so I hope to do that in the next episode but if you can't wait until then or don't want to take the chance you won't win why not do what I did and head over to Steam and get the game today as it is on sale for £8.39 http://store.steampowered.com/app/299740/.

The year is 2089. The Earth is in ruins from two major nuclear wars. Civilization has collapsed and the majority of mankind has been wiped out. Each day is a struggle to find food and water to live, weapons for defense, and gear to withstand the harsh unforgiving wasteland that was once earth. The city centers and areas once called home and work are now populated by grotesque mutated humans, minds rotten from radiation and sickness. Bandits fight for control of what’s left, executing everyone they come across or using them for slave labor and food. This is the world as it exists today, there is no law. Kill or be killed. Survive or Die.

Game Features (Implemented)
Realistic Bullet Physics: Bullet trajectory will change based on gravity, air resistance, and wind.
Unique Construction system: Use many of the same materials for crafting to create walls, barricades, gates and roofs to construct your secret base deep in a cave or high on a mountain. Store your items in vaults and protect your camp from enemies!
Dynamic Item Spawns: Vehicles (not implemented yet), weapons and items will usually be found in logical places, but can also be found anywhere in the world. Be sure to check everywhere for items – lockers, stoves, cupboards, and many more.
Persistent Characters: Your character’s stats and items will be saved when you exit the game. When you log back in, you will have your health, items and location all restored.
Comprehensive Inventory system: Store items on your character and collect weapons, ammo and other useful items. You can also find additional items to increase the amount of storage space your character has – like backpacks.
Crafting: A basic crafting system is implemented allowing you to make more powerful melee weapons and items such as advanced bandages. The crafting system is being expanded as the game progresses.
Food and Water systems: Keep your hunger and water levels up in order for your character to function at maximum efficiency. Low levels of food and hunger have a negative impact on your character’s performance.
Radiation System: Keep away from radiation to keep your level down. High levels of radiation will also affect your character’s performance.
