Donald Trump doubled down on harsh language against Syrians and his fellow presidential candidates.
Trump addressed a packed house at Wofford College in Spartanburg with more people coming through the doors, Trump called it a record for his campaign.
He also picked up an endorsement from former South Carolina Gov. David Beasley to begin the morning.
"A revolution is about to take place in this nation that will move this nation back in its right course," Beasley said. "Please welcome the next president of the United States, Donald Trump."
After shaking hands with Beasley and Van Hipp, the Town Hall's moderator, Trump gave an hour long address focusing almost exclusively on foreign policy.
"As sure as you sit here, Iran is now taking over Iraq," Trump said.
But he still managed to work in the topics that have drawn attention - both for and against - his campaign, like immigration.
"We are going to have a wall, and we're going to have a big wall, and a real wall," Trump said. "And Mexico is going to pay for the wall."
And his thoughts on competition.
"Look, folks, we're run by stupid people," Trump said. "We're run by senseless, stupid people."
And the press.
"I never heard incoming as it pertained to the press, those folks back there," he said. "All those cameras rolling. Oh that's beautiful, hello folks."
Trump has held onto a top polling position fighting both unified attack efforts from GOP and Democratic candidates and Trump's own comments on immigration and his support for an all-Muslim database, which brought criticism from minority groups.
Spectators in the crowd today say they don't know who has the nomination, but put him in at least the top four Republicans.
"We got Trump leading, with Carson, Cruz and Rubio," attendee Charles Carter said.
Trump returns to South Carolina on Tuesday with a stop in Myrtle Beach.
One source in the campaign say they've already exceeded the number of spectators they were anticipating.
