In this preview, Shuma tries to get used to difficulties of vampire life, while Mari (his maid servant) offers advice on how he can stay strong. Mari is cute, bubbly and a little cheeky. Oh, she's also a werewolf, too! Even though she can be very direct with Shuma, she remains obedient to him.

Calen is Shuma's bride through an arranged marriage. She scolds Mari for her insubordination when speaking to Shuma, but other than that, she's a sleepy head throughout this scene.
