This mother dog and her nine puppies were rescued from under the rubble of an abandoned home in south-west Detroit, Michigan. The mother dog had been evading capture and she was nursing her puppies. The dogs were found by a family that lives next door. The father and the Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue used Church's Chicken to lure the dogs to safety.
