More than a million grassroots supporters of Venezuela’s socialist coalition took part in an election simulation in preparation for a smooth process in Venezuela’s upcoming parliamentary elections. The simulation is also part of an intense drive to get out the vote for the December 6 elections, and organizers believe they reached seven million people over the weekend. The supporters want to make sure that voters show their support for the gains of the Bolivarian Revolution first achieved by former President Hugo Chavez and the continuation of the remarkable changes made during the last 16 years.
