Footage of the dramatic moment an allegedly drugged up man in China, armed with a pair of cleavers, confronted a dozen riot police at a crossroads before finally being captured.

In the video, filmed in Sichuan Province on Wednesday, the man can be seen waving his weapons in the middle of a junction while a group of policemen hold shields and chase him, running for a few hundred metres down the street before seizing him and taking him away in a police car.
