Partia Socialiste akuzon qeverinë se e ka zhytur vendin ne varfëri të thellë për shkak të politikave të dështuara sociale. Kryetarja e komisionit te punës dhe çështjeve sociale Eglanitna Gjermeni iu referua shifrave ne rritje te personave me ndihme ekonomike, kur sipas saj, me 41mije leke te vjetra familjet te tera shtyjnë muajin. Ajo theksoi se ne krahasim me 2008 numri i familjeve që jetojnë me ndihme ekonomike është rritur me 6000 familje ne muaj. Për Partinë Socialiste, përllogaritja sa më e shpejtë e minimumit jetik, është hapi i parë i rëndësishëm për të luftuar varfërinë. Nën qeverisjen socialiste tha Gjermeni, do të krijohen 300 000 vende pune.
