Kryetari i opozitës Edi Rama premtoi ndëshkimin nga drejtësia te autoreve te vrasjes se 4 protestuesve ne 21 Janarin e 2011, pas ardhjes se PS ne pushtet. Zoti Rama theksoi se edhe 2 vjet pas ngjarjes se rende, plaga mbetet e hapur, pasi asnjë urdhërues apo ekzekutor, nuk është dënuar.
Duke besuar se pas zgjedhjeve te 23 qershorit, e majta do te qeverise vendin, lideri i PS u shpreh se ne 21 janarin e ardhshëm, 4 te rënët duke protestuar para kryeministrisë do te shpallen dëshmore te atdheut. Një ore pas mbarimit te protestës, ne mbledhjen e grupit parlamentar kryeministri Berisha përsëriti akuzat se 21 janari ishte një sulm për te marre pushtetin me dhune, duke ia faturuar gjithçka Rames. Aktualisht për ngjarjen e 21 janarit janë ne gjykim ish komandanti i gardës Ndrea Prendi dhe gardistet, Agim Llupo dhe Margarit Kume. Ndërsa për 3 deputetet socialiste Balla, Doshi dhe Baraj u pushua hetimi për shkak te amnistisë për 100- vjetorin e pavarësisë.
