Kur ka kaluar me shume se një vit nga zgjedhjet për pushtetin lokal, kreu i KQZ-së, Arben Ristani, ka pranuar gabimet e tij ne lidhje me vendimin për te numëruar votat e hedhura ne kutinë e gabuar. Ne emisionin "Intervista", Ristani, ndërsa ka folur për zgjedhjet e 8 Majit dhe momentet e vështira kur deputetet socialiste protestonin para KQZ-së, ka pranuar se vendimi i ndërmjetëm i marre për votat e gabuara ishte i paqarte. Duke u ndalur tek problematika e referendumit kundër plehrave dhe qasja e KQZ-së ndaj kësaj kërkese te shoqërisë civile, Ristani, ka deklaruar se te gjitha firmat e falsifikuara do te çohen ne Prokurori. Ne lidhje me reformën zgjedhore ai është shprehur kundër propozimit te PS-së për zgjedhjen e kryetarit te KQZ-së, duke vlerësuar modelin aktual. Duke pranuar se nuk ekzistojnë me shanset qe te jete ne krye te KQZ-së ne zgjedhjet e ardhshme, Ristani nuk e ka mohuar mundësinë e hyrjes ne politike.
