KFOR ka përfunduar me sukses një operacion te nisur mëngjesin e se shtunës për mbylljen e vendkalimeve te paautorizuara ne afërsi te Bërnjakut, ne veri te Kosovës.
"Operacioni u zhvillua ne mënyrë qe te kontribuoje për një ambient te qete dhe te sigurt, duke parandaluar lëvizjet e paautorizuara përgjatë vijës kufitare", thuhet ne komunikatën e KFOR-it. Qe ne mëngjes, KFOR-i vendosi disa pika kontrolli për automjetet dhe një kordon rrethues ne disa zona për shkaqe sigurie. Edhe ky operacion i forcave paqeruajtëse ndërkombëtare, ashtu si dhe ata te mëparshmit, është shoqëruar me incidente, ndonëse jo si ato te pak javëve me pare. Strukturat paralele serbe kane ftuar banoret lokale qe te dalin dhe te kundërshtojnë aksionin e forcave te KFOR-it. Sipas mediave serbe, dy anëtarë te këtij komuniteti janë plagosur nga te shtënat me plumba gome, gjate përpjekjeve për te penguar KFOR-in. Plagët thuhet se janë te lehta dhe se ata janë lënë te shkojnë ne shtëpi pas ndihmës se pare qe kane marre ne qendrën shëndetësore ne Zubin Potok. Nga ana tjetër, ne komunikatën e KFOR-it sqarohet se forcat paqeruajtëse nuk mund t'i konfirmoje raportimet qe flasin për lëndimet e njerëzve, ne momentin kur trupat e KFOR-it kane shtëne ne ajër tre plumba gome, për te penguar protestuesit.

KFOR has successfully completed an operation to start on Saturday morning closure of unauthorized crossings in the vicinity of Brnjak, in northern Kosovo.
"The operation was conducted in order to contribute to a quiet and safe, preventing unauthorized movements along the border line," said the communique of KFOR. Since morning, KFOR deployed several checkpoints for vehicles and a binder in some areas for perimeter security reasons. Even the operation of international peacekeeping forces, as well as previous ones, has been associated with incidents, though not as those of a few weeks ago. Parallel structures have invited local residents to come out and oppose the action of KFOR forces. According to Serbian media, two members of this community have been wounded by the shooting with rubber bullets, while trying to prevent KFOR. Injuries are said to be light and that they are leaving to go home after first aid was received at the health center in Zubin Potok. On the other hand, the communiqué explained that KFOR peacekeeping forces could not confirm reports that people talk about injuries, at the time when KFOR troops fired rubber bullets into the air three, to prevent the protesters.
