Pas përplasjes se forcave paqeruajtëse te KFOR-it me serbet lokale ne veri te Kosovës, presidenti i ri serb, Tomislav Nikolic, është shprehur i gatshëm te takohet me ta gjate kësaj jave. Siç raportojnë mediat serbe, Nikolic do te takohet me serbet e veriut te Kosovës për të diskutuar për reagimin e Beogradit zyrtar ndaj operacioni të KFOR-it për heqjen e barrikadave. "Shtetasit duhet të dinë çfarë i pret dhe se çfarë vendimesh do te marre shteti i tyre", citohet te ketë thënë Nikolic. Te premten e kaluar, një operacion te KFOR ne Rudare për heqjen e barrikadave, provokoi reagimin e serbeve lokale. Ata u përplasen me forcat paqeruajtëse, nga ku mbeten te plagosur dy ushtare te KFOR dhe tre tubues.
