Lajme kontradiktore ne lidhje me një pezullim te mundshëm te vendimit te FIFA-s për lejimin e Kosovës për zhvillimin e ndeshjeve miqësore ndërkombëtare. Mediat serbe se bashku me prestigjiozen franceze Lequipe ka deklaruar se federata ndërkombëtare e futbollit ka pezulluar vendimin e dhënë disa dite me pare. Sipas tyre lajmi është bere publik nga kreu i FIFA Josef Blater ne përfundimin te kongresit te 62 ne Budapest. Ne citohet te ketë thënë Blater do te kemi një takim me federatat qe kane kontestuar vendimin dhe ne veçanti Serbinë javën e ardhshme ne Zyrih. Ne te njëjtën kohe ne duhet te fiksojmë modalitetet e këtij vendimi qe aktualisht është pezulluar dhe vendimi final është ne 29 qershor. Ndërkohë mediat kosovare deklarojnë se Blater nuk është tërhequr nga vendimi por thjesht ne mbledhjen e ardhshme do te percaktohen se si do te luaje Kosova ne këto miqësore si pritëse apo mysafire. Ndërkohë FIFA nuk ka nxjerre asnjë version zyrtar ne lidhje me një anulim apo konfirmim te vendimit. Gjithsesi ne një pike palët përputhen: Protesta e forte e federatës serbe te futbollit dhe deklarate e kreut te UEFA-s Mishel Platini, se ky është një vendim politik e kane shtyre për një muaj vendimin e FIFA qe ne fakt e aprovoi me 16 vota pro dhe 8 kundër ndërsa federates kosovare i duhet te prese edhe pak kohe.
