Deklarimet e aleatit kryesor ne qeverisje, LSI, për një president konsensual, qe ti kapërcejë 71 votat, qe mund te arrihen me blerje deputetesh, por edhe takimet publike dhe private mes kreut te PS dhe atij te LSI, për njohësit e zhvillimeve politike, janë tregues qe jemi para një realiteti te ri politik. Gazetari Robert Rakipllari thotë se sheh ne horizont një aleance mes këtyre forcave, ndonëse është dyshues për produktin presidencial, qe mund te vije nga bashkimi i votave PS -- LSI. Politologu Ermal Hasimja shprehet se këto kapërcime nga njeri kamp ne tjetrin, dëshmojnë se aktoreve politike, jo vetëm nuk u intereson produkti, qe zgjedhin, por edhe nuk u qëndrojnë ideologjisë programore. Ndersa pedagogu Blendi Ceka mendon, se ne këtë situate, te gjitha palët përpiqen te faktorizohen, sidomos partia e Ilir Metës. Pikëpyetja e madhe, qe ka ndezur debatin mes analisteve politike është jo vetëm sesi do te zgjidhet pasardhësi i Bamir Topit, por edhe a do te mund te ketë te ardhme aleanca PD -- LSI, ne kushtet kur kjo e fundit po shfaq hapur shenja afrimi me Partine Socialiste.
