Zbulohen rrënojat qe i përkasin Xhamisë 300 vjeçare te Qafës ne Shkodër. Pjese te objektit dolën ne drite rreth 50 metra larg Xhamisë se Plumbit, gjate punës për ndërtimin e murit rrethues te saj. Xhamia e vjetër ka qene ne funksion deri ne vitin 1967, kur objektet e kultit u shkatërruan me vendim te qeverise se asaj kohe. Pas këtij zbulimi pritet te rinisin kërkimet ne zonën rreth kalasë se Shkodres qe cilësohet si zone muzeale, pasi sipas arkeologeve, aty fshihen gjurmët e qytetit te vjetër.

Wreckage was discovered 300 years old mosque belonging to the Pass in Shkodra. Part of the facility came to light about 50 meters from the Lead Mosque, during work to build its perimeter wall. The old mosque was in operation until 1967, when the objects of worship were destroyed by the decision of the government of the day.
