Pjesa më e madhe e ankesave të bëra pranë avokatit të popullit në lidhje me shpërndarjen e energjisë elektrike kanë të bëjnë me mbifaturimin.
Ne fakt numri i ankesave duket sikur është ulur, pasi për vitin 2011 ka pasur vetëm 70 te tilla, por kjo vetëm për arsyen se ato i tashme i drejtohen me shume Entit Rregullator të Energjisë. Nga ana tjetër drejtori menaxherial i kompanisë 'CEZ' duke trajtuar ankesat e bëra nga avokati i popullit u shpreh se ai do të bëjë ç'është e mundur në mënyrë që të heqë taksën e televizionit publik nga faturat e energjisë dhe se kompania deri tani ka shkurtuar 50 punonjës të cilët kanë bërë faturim të gabuar.
