Tre shkollat dhe kopshti i fëmijëve ne Tepelenë janë pa ujë te pijshëm prej dy ditësh. Ndërmarrja e Ujësjellësit u ka ndërprere furnizimin me ujë institucioneve shkollore me pretendimin se Bashkia nuk ka shlyer detyrimet.
Kreu i Bashkise, Termet Peçi, pohon se borxhet shkojnë ne 4 milion leke, por sipas tij debia është krijuar nder vite dhe masa e ndërmarrjes se ujësjellësit është ekstreme. Drejtori i ndërmarrjes se ujësjellësit ne Tepelenë, Vladimir Bakiaj nuk ka pranuar te japë shpjegime te tjera, përveçse Bashkia është paralajmëruar se ne rast mos shlyerjeje te borxheve do te ndërpritej furnizimi me ujë. E ndërsa institucionet nuk kane gjetur gjuhen e përbashkët, drejtuesit e shkollave thonë se është thuajse i pamundur procesi mësimor ne kushtet kur mungon higjiena. Drejtuesit e shkollave dhe kopshtit ne total me mbi 1200 nxënës kërcënojnë me mbyllje te shkollave e te kopshtit nëse nuk rinis furnizimi me ujë.
