Filmmaker Fernando Frias de la Parra takes us on an adventure from Rio de Janeiro's Ipanema beach, down the coast to Angra, and ends in the preserved colonial city of Paraty. Along the way we try açaí (delicious, though hard to pronounce), explore Angra's coast by boat (gorgeous), stay at Casa Turquesa (hospitality+cobble stone streets+pastels=yes please), hike Mamangua (tough, but so worth it), and get a full dose of Brazilian saudade.
