Former prisoners and leaders of the various Palestinian factions attended a ceremony on Monday to honor Palestinian prisoners who passed their secondary school final exams in Israeli jails. Diplomas were presented to the parents of the graduating children. The Palestinian Prisoners Club recently revealed that approximately 6,800 Palestinians including women, children, leaders and politicians are being held in Israeli jails, some 500 of them under administrative detention.
