At the closing session of the 4th Summit of Arab and South American Countries, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro proposed the creation of a joint development bank. Under the proposal, the member countries of the Union of South American Nations and the Arab League would finance projects in line with the U.N.'s 2030 Sustainable Development goals. teleSUR
