An amazing video has emerged from western China of a white wind vortex that looks like a skinny tornado appearing near a construction site under bright sunshine.

The video, captured by an employee on the site in Qinghai Province on Thursday, shows the slender, twister-like wind passing through the sandy ground while spectators are amazed by the unusual phenomenon.

According to the filmer Mr Wang, the strange weather lasted about two or three minutes before it faded.

Fortunately, the wind was not strong enough to cause any injuries or damage.
