The incidents of house break-ins continued before Diwali festivities in the city as Vadaj police recorded two and Navrangpura police recorded one cases. In total, the households reported thefts of valuables worth more than Rs 17.5 lakh. The thieves had stolen gold, silver and diamond jewellery Show-room as well.
