Snow blizzards hit Northwestern China last week, as 80cm of snow fell over Xinjiang, causing severe traffic problems throughout the region.

In the video, which was filmed on Friday, vehicles can be seen struggling through the white streets.

According to news reports, the snow started on Wednesday night and turned to a snowstorm on Thursday morning.
