Murdock the dog was abused and used as a bait dog for a dog fighting ring. The dog's abusers were prosecuted and charged with animal abuse. After the trial, Murdock had to go to two different shelters. Eventually, a kind couple named Ed and Cheryl decided to adopt Murdock even though he was in a shelter across the country.
