An amusing video has emerged of a dog getting its head stuck inside food packaging while trying to eat a stolen chicken.

The footage, captured on a street in Jiangsu Province, China on Thursday evening, shows the little "thief" struggling to get rid of the bag until a passerby kindly takes it off its head.

According to the filmer, the dog is a regular "criminal" around the area.
