BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT ? Police have released surveillance video showing the escape of a teenager from a near-abduction in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Fox CT reports that the 17-year-old girl was walking to school Monday morning when a charcoal gray Toyota Yaris with a missing back bumper approached her on the corner of Boston and Palisade avenues. The driver allegedly lured her into the car and then attacked her once she was inside.
According to WFSB, the girl jumped out of the moving car to escape and rolled to safety. Police are still looking for the Toyota sedan, which drove off following the incident. Authorities are also seeking assistance in identifying the driver, who was described as a Hispanic woman in her 40s with freckles on her face and black hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket.
