A heartfelt gesture was recently blocked by a dog named Cleo. 


The sniffer beagle alerted authorities to a suspicious letter at the International Mail Centre in Auckland, New Zealand where she is employed.


A manager stated, “She stuck her nose right on the letter.  Her tail started wagging like crazy and she responded perfectly, so we definitely knew there was something in there.” 


What staff uncovered was an envelope sent from Australia containing rose petals and a letter reading, “I love you. xxx.”
