Countries in the English speaking Caribbean have been receiving poor international tourism reviews as their beaches continue to be invaded by massive amounts of sargassum seaweed. It is also a problem for farmers and a nuisance for residents due to its unbearable stench. Sargassum has been a problem for many years, but with climate changes, the amounts and frequency have skyrocketed. Saint Lucia is trying to get rid as much of this seaweed as possible.
