Members of the sheriff’s office in St. Lucie County, Florida, recently raised more than $12,000 during a fundraising event where they had their heads shaven--some for money--to support their fellow deputy who is fighting cancer.

Corey Todd, a deputy who has been with the office for 17 years is battling chronic myeloid leukemia and dealing with hair loss due to various treatments.
