A breeder in Baltimore no longer able to meet the needs of her 53 Chihuahuas agreed to surrender them to animal control.

Chihuahuas are popular to own which means they can be a target for breeders.

However, one in Baltimore who was in possession of 53 of the diminutive canines had to give hers away. 


The woman was no longer able to meet the dogs’ needs so she agreed to surrender them to Baltimore City Animal Control. 


They have since been passed along to the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter and will all be going up for adoption. 


According to a spokesperson at the shelter, the Chihuahuas seem to have been well taken care of,
