The much awaited Ford Figo hatchback has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs.4.29 lakh. The Figo hatchback draws much of its design inspiration from the earlier launched Figo Aspire sedan. In fact the only separating thing between the Aspire sedan and the Figo hatchback is the hatchback design of the latter. From every other side except the rear the car looks exactly like the Figo Aspire sedan.

The Figo hatch has been launched in three different engine options – 1.5-liter diesel, 1.2-liter petrol and a 1.5-liter petrol. While the first two engines have been mated to a five-speed manual transmission, the 1.5-liter petrol will come with a six-speed DCT automatic transmission.

On the inside, the Figo hatch has been given features like SYNC multimedia system with a display unit, climate control, electrically foldable mirrors etc. The interior design of the car is primarily black with silver inserts at many places.
