An immensely cute video has emerged of two hamsters looking like their tucked in for bed inside a sandwich, as they eat the salad filling.

In the footage, filmed at the end of August this year, the two hamsters can be seen inside the sandwich munching away on the lettuce.

The filmer joked in a post online: "But can you really bear to eat these cutie pies?"
