This Wednesday a delegation of the Santos administration arrived in Venezuela to continue negotiations regarding the border situation. The Colombian delegation was headed by Maria Angela Holguin, who was received by her counterpart Delcy Rodriguez. The meeting is part of a wider diplomatic effort to ease tensions in the neighboring countries that have resulted from rampant criminal activities in the border region.
