Researchers recently found that in many cases test participants needed to be looking at their toes to tell which one was which.

A recent study conducted by Oxford University suggests people may not know their own bodies as well as they think. 


Researchers found that in many cases the subjects needed to be looking at their toes to tell which one was which.


Participants were asked to close their eyes, and the researchers applied a bit of pressure to the digits on both the hands and feet.


Specific fingers were correctly identified 99% of the time, but toes proved a far greater challenge. 


Big and little ones were accurately recognized most often, at 94%.
