Cuban President Raul Castro will visit the UN for the first time later this month, when he will speak in the debate on a motion calling for lifting the U.S. economic blockade of the island. US President Barack Obama will be at the UN at the same time, but thus far no meeting between the two heads of state has been announced. While in the US, President Castro will attend a speech by Pope Francis on September 25 and a conference on women's equality. teleSUR
