On the night of September 15, Mexico celebrated the 205th anniversary of the beginning of the country's struggle to achieve independence from Spain. Despite the huge official events marking Independence Day, many Mexicans wonder how much there is really to celebrate, given the economic crisis, widespread violence and insecurity, Ayotzinapa, and high-profile corruption cases.
