Footage of a double HGV crash in Rainham, London on the A13 at Ferry Lane on Monday morning.

The video, filmed by a passenger in a passing vehicle, shows devestation at the scene with metal and debris spilled across the road. A lorry carrying scrap metal smashed into a roadworks truck, according to reports.

One driver is being treated in hospital while the other reportedly jumped from his cab moments before the crash - escaping injury.

The filmer wrote online: "looked like roadworks lorry pulled out on articulated lorry. Articulated lorry rolled on top of other lorry crushing that one sending debris all over the road."
