Yet another witness in the rape case involving Asaram Bapu is ed to have been shot at. The victim, identified as 35-year-old Kripal Singh, was an employee of a transport company owned by the man whose daughter had filed the case of sexual assault against the self-styled godman. Mr. Singh was shot at by two unidentified bike-borne assailants in Shahjahanpur while he was on his way home. He has been referred to Bareilly and his condition is stated to be critical.
