The battle for Terengganu seems to have begun, even before the PM dissolves Parliament.

All along Terengganu's coastal road party flags are being put up. Many bridges have been decorated, some solely with the flags of Pas who seemed to have claimed Marang town while other bridges have been claimed by Umno and still others, both parties have laid claim to them.

But who will claim the hearts and minds of the Terengganu people?

There is visibly a lot of development happening in Terengganu and certainly there seems to be a feeling of "damn we do and damn we don't" -- they are at once angry with the rise in prices of essentials while fearful of development being halted should Umno lose the state.
