The panel set up to oversee the police probe into the shooting of 14-year-old Aminulrasyid Amzah has noted that there are "inconsistencies" in the case which require further probing.

"From the briefing by the police we find several inconsistencies between the evidence and witness (statements)," said Deputy Home Minister and panel chief Abu Seman Yusop at the press conference at Putrajaya today.

He, however, refused to elaborate on the matter.
